The Cottage
The cottage has been restored with great attention to detail using locally sourced and recycled materials wherever possible.
In fact, the environment has been at the heart of our restoration work – the cottage benefits from air-sourced underfloor heating and is highly insulated to keep you snug even in the coldest weather...
The Cottage
...In the cottage sitting room, you are only metres away from Noxon Pond - keen fishermen can virtually fish from the patio.
Flexible accommodation is provided in 2 bedrooms plus sofa bed in the sitting room.
Flat screen TV, DVD player plus well stocked childrens' box for rainy days and as many books as you could possibly read in a week.
Noxon Pond
Once part of a royal estate, historic Noxon Pond dates from 1301 and is well known as a local beauty spot.
Daily or weekly fishing tickets can be bought at half the normal price - the pond is well stocked with carp, bream, rudd and roach.
Canoeing on the pond at quiet times is particularly popular with children - at your own risk.
The Forest of Dean
The Forest of Dean is a wonderful holiday destination at any time of the year.
Noxon Pond Cottage backs on to Forestry Commission land - wander down the path behind the cottage and you are on a network of quiet paths which are a cyclist or a rambler's dream.
Ideally placed to visit local attractions such as the Steam Railway, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves, we are also within easy reach of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons.
